I've been using my All Stars now as my do everything shoes for a while, I want to know if weighlifting shoes are worth it? Weightlifting shoes only or the hybrids?

Hey Phil, I have pretty terrible ankle range of motion so I like the little bit of extra help the lifting shoes gives me. That said, I didn't really give lifting in my regular WOD shoes that much of a go.
I've got the adidas ones and I have only used them for wods that don't involves any real dynamic movements (eg. wall balls & power cleans are ok, but running and box jumps are not.)

Just a follow up post for anyone considering buying weightlifting shoes. I decided to buy the AdiPower Weightlifting Shoes after Simon recommendation and the review on therxreview.com/review-adipower-weightlifting-shoes it cost me about $230 from eastbay which included shipping. So after wearing for 3 weeks here are my thoughts. Im comparing it to wearing chuck-taylors, inov8 233 and nano 2.0 Cleans: Need to jump/extended harder as the shoe is more solid around the toes. This has been a good thing a more power is put on the pull (same for the snatch pull) Jerk: Firm landing on the ground without feet moving/rolling, even when landing in a poor position the stableness of the shoe allowed to regain balance. With non-lifting shoes feet felt unstable. Squat: Ive read in separate articles that w-shoes gave better squat depth and upright torso. I dont this was the case for myself, however paying more attention to my positioning and mobility has made my squat better. In all I would recommend w-shoes, but for myself ill keep w-shoes for lifting only and my chuck-taylors, inov8 233 and nano 2.0 for metcons

Good to see your thoughts on the shoes, keeping the shoes for lifting only makes sence to me, If you are crossfitting for sport you need to be prepared for any situation. If your doing it for training it depends on your goals... and the movements.
