TEST MAX EFFORT BS THIS WEEK.
goal. Reach by October 30 2013 snatch 47kg (I have no idea if that's realistic) C&J 60kg front squat 70kg (IDK, is thats realistic) back squat TBC snatch balance 42kg
Plan barbell 3xper wweek lifting 2xoer week - working on snatch balance, hang, dropping under the bar, and heavy squats. Technique. Write my own/reference Simons old program's haha Conditioning (crossfit) 3-4 times per week.

New PBs
Snatch 41kg (power, love hearing "I've got so much more" if I just dropped under it hahaha) Clean and jerk 55kg, maybe a slight press out. Front squat 62.5kg. Back squat 70kg Snatch balance - haven't retested.
Overall I begun 2 extra sessions on top of Simons programming. These consisted of light weight snatch balances, high hang snatches, shrug-high hang snatch combo. I did some set up drills, and moved through positions 1-2-3-shrug. This training lasted about 2-3 weeks. I stopped attending open gym Monday pm and Friday pm. Unfortunately I can't see myself being able to make open gym in the afternoon. I also increased wods to about 4-5 a week to make up training.
So to make up those extra training/drill lifting sessions I need to use my morning more effectively...face my challenging behaviour associated with getting up early. Theoretically it's an easy bx to change but to apply it has always been unsuccessful or with little success.
Anyway, plenty of time for hard work to reach my goals. But think I need to try and get those 2 extra "drill" sessions in. Will need some thought, commitment, and action!

Snatch 45kg! Powered. Failed 47.5 but I've got it high enough.
BSQ 2x72.5kg very slow getting up like a broken elevator.
I think I'm incredibly close to getting my 60kg clean and jerk.
With my squats - just need to chip away and see some slow progress. Not sure if its mental or just a lack of strength.
To improve on dropping under in my snatch I will be aiming on doing my usual drills and adding in plyometric movements. Could do at home.will think it over....
snatch balance is at35kg x3, still scared. But from memory 35kg looked and felt good and fast.
